It’s well understood that active children are happier, more resilient, enjoy greater wellbeing and achieve more. However, many children’s physical activity levels fall below the Chief Medical Officer’s guidelines of 60 minutes a day (30 mins. school, 30 mins. home). According to the Active Lives Children and Young People Survey by Sport England, 56% of children don’t reach this level.
